so I decided to buy a new camera lens, the Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor Lens for my Nicon D60. I know my camera isn't the best out there, but for what I do it's good enough. and I know there's a better lens, but for the price, i figured this is good enough for what I do. I also bought a wireless remote control. I own a tripod, so I may start to use it. and i also got a UV lens cover for it. hopefully the fact that it doesn't have auto-focus (or so they say) for my camera won't be a big deal.
we'll see if this sits in my camera bag for the next years of if I actually use it.

Go somewhere beautiful in nature so you are inspired to use it. Doesn't have to be far, just a nice beach for example. I remember taking my very first digital photos at reef point, which is just south of crystal cove. i was lucky to be there when someone was flying a small glider of some kind, back and forth, and a seabird was actually flying right alongside it! He was probably curious and checking it out haha. Or, now that you have a tripod and remote, go somewhere dark and try taking some night photos of the sky with a slow shutter speed. Hmm maybe you already did all this since February hehe.
